alexander gained power at the young age of 20. despite his young age he was well prepared to be a leader.
He studied under Aristotle and was a brilliant military general. he used clever battle strategies when he was out numbered greatly. he had an army of 35000 men. his first battle leading to the fall of Persia was against 40000 Persian soldier who he easily defeated. his second battle against king Darius III and about 75000 Persian soldiers was once again a victory because o his clever strategy. finally after refusing a peace offer he defeated 250000 Persian soldiers ending the Persian Empire.
