Classical grease

Today we read pages 118-126 and took notes on classical Greece in our notebooks.

we learned that the roots of the Greek culture are based on interactions with the Mycenaean’s, Minoans, and the Dorian culture. Because three-fourths of Greece was covered in mountains they were politically divided, so they created small independent communities that the people were loyal to these communities. The Mycenaean’s settled on Greek mainland where they adapted the Minoans writing styling. They then went to war with Troy for 10 years.

We then saw a PowerPoint on the great ancient cities and how they all are around rivers where they can settle and become domesticated.
